These Golden Era Stars You Forgot About Are Still Alive & Doing Better

Kim Novak – 1933

Kim Novak’s acting portfolio started building up when she signed a deal with Columbia Pictures in the mid-’50s, appearing in films such as The Man With the Golden Arm. Since then Novak didn’t have to look back as she went on delivering few back-to-back hits including Vertigo. She has been given the coveted Golden Globe Award for his performance in Phffft. However, the blonde beauty will always be remembered for her starring role in Alfred Hitchcock’s classic thriller Vertigo.

She then started losing interest in acting. After her last acting performance in the 1991 movie Liebestraum, she decided to leave the industry for good. Though it’s being said that as an actress she never reached her potential, she definitely left a lasting impression in the industry. Now sitting far from the Tinseltown, 87-year-old Novak is spending her post-retirement life with her beloved husband, expressing herself through photography and painting. Even at this age she still looks stunning and has kept her spirit alive. Did she go through any kind of anti-aging therapy or surgery? We don’t know, but she definitely deserves credit for that.

Linda Evans – 1942

For more than five decades Linda Evans has remained the living embodiment of grace and beauty to the audience of American television. Her first notable role was in the show The Big Valley. While this made her quite known, nothing could compare to how famous she became when she played Krystle Carrington in the original Dynasty series back in the 80s. Her portrayal of the role won her the Best Actress award at the Golden Globe Awards back in 1982. Evans has stopped acting since 1998, but she has reappeared through the docu-series titled The ’80s Greatest in 2018.

Linda has done quite well for herself as she is one of the actresses from back then who clearly has some serious anti-aging secrets because she looks flawless at her current age of 77. Without any surgery, her beauty doesn’t seem to fade away despite the passing of time. Possibly a fat bank account and strict fitness workout have made things easy for her. Keep glowing Linda like you always do!

Catherine Bach – 1954

Catherine Bach became famous for her role as Daisy Duke in the TV series, The Dukes of Hazzard. When she auditioned, Bach was told that those behind the production of the show were on the search for a Dolly Parton dead ringer.

The gutsy actress went anyway and even got the part on the spot! You know how? Through her awesome personality, killer charm, and her steamy body. She is quite the talented actress and remains beautiful as she was back in her hey days.

In her 60s, Bach’s latest public appearances had caused a buzz among folks who think she’s had facial cosmetic surgery. Regardless if she went under the knife or not, she’ll always be the iconic Daisy Duke who won everyone’s hearts!

Sophia Loren — 1934

Sophia Loren may be an actress who hails from Italy, but it’s in America, specifically in Hollywood where she became an icon of the industry.  She made history in the Oscars in 1961 when she became the first artist to win an academy award with a foreign language film.  She won as best actress for the Italian film, Two Women.  With millions in her bank account, pension investments were definitely not on the actress’ mind when she was younger.  Loren has a reported net worth of $75 million.

Barbara Eden – 1931

Barbara Eden became a common name in the industry due to her role in I Dream Of Jeannie. From then onwards, Barbara pursued acting mostly instead of following her dream to become a singer. Since then, she got various versatile roles in theatre plays, television shows, and films. She started off her TV career with The Johnny Carson Show in 1955 and appeared in a number of other shows that followed.

Though she left 20th Century Fox, yet her stint on TV and few films in MGM, Universal, and Columbia continued for some time. While she’s 88 at present, she’s still active in the industry, and with that net worth; she doesn’t need to worry about her life insurance at all! For now, she should concentrate more on her health and well-being, instead of taking undue stress about professional commitments.
