These Golden Era Stars You Forgot About Are Still Alive & Doing Better
Connie Stevens – 1938
We all remember Connie Stevens, who made a mark for herself in Hollywood with her exceptional singing and acting ability. Often dubbed as the “teen idol of the 60s,” Connie’s beauty, singing, and acting prowess was much praised in teen and later adult film dramas.
Coming from a musical family where both her parents were jazz musicians, Connie formed a couple of vocal groups, first The Foremost and later The Three Debs. She began lining up singing commercials in the early 70s to rejuvenate her fame.
Following her split with Eddie Fisher, she entirely became out of sync with Hollywood and started facing a financial struggle. But with her neve-say-die attitude, she turned the situation around to become a self-made tycoon and her fans are truly surprised by that. Now 80 years old Connie could spend her retirement without worrying about bankruptcy.
Suzanne Somers – 1946
Suzanne Somers is a 72-year old American actress and singer. She’s also an author but the real reason everyone remembers her is her role as Chrissy Snow on Three’s Company. She also appeared as Carol Foster on Step by Step and gained critical acclaim. Recently, she took to Instagram and posted her naked picture in a bathtub, causing a fan reaction.

Some were happy that she’s still young at heart while others thought this is yet another move to endorse the beauty industry. Nevertheless, she still looks amazing whether you agree to the way she decided to enjoy daisy bloom or not. We are not sure whether she has gone through plastic surgery or not. But she is looking as young as ever these days. She exchanged marital vows with Canadian producer and TV personality, Alan Hamel in the year 1977, and the two are still together.

She was also in Viva Las Vegas, All’s Faire in Love, The Cincinnati Kid, The Train Robbers, and many more.

The Swedish actress was married to American actor, Roger Smith from the year 1967 till his demise in the year 2017. She started out in tinsel town at the beginning of the 60s decade and has had a decorated career till now. She found fame after starring in a string of hits, including Cocktail, Adventures In Babysitting, Karate Kid, Hollow Man, Piranha 3D, and Death Wish.

But perhaps her best performance remains in Leaving Las Vegas, for which she earned an Oscar nomination. The 56-year-old Harvard graduate has enjoyed a colorful career playing all kinds of characters.
The elegant blonde from a sports enthusiast family is an avid tennis lover and plays for two hours every day. It is no wonder she is so fit and fine even in her late 50s. She tied the knot with film director Davis Guggenheim and together, the couple share three children.
